A shooting at a birthday party on Saturday in Oakland, California left two Berkeley high students dead and two other individuals injured.
The shooting took place just before 10 p.m. at the 950 block of Apgar Street in Oakland, according to authorities.
Officers from the Oakland Police Department arrived at the scene and attempted life-saving measures on the victims. However, they were pronounced dead on site, according to the police.

The two victims were identified as Berkeley high students aged 15 and 17.
"We are deeply saddened to have learned that two Berkeley High School students and beloved members of the BUSD family lost their lives yesterday in a senseless act of gun violence," wrote school Superintendent Enikia Ford Morthel in an email. "Our hearts go out to their family and everyone impacted by this tragedy. Because these were two of our own, we are all feeling this pain collectively and must hold each other especially close and care for one another."
The two individuals that were injured by the gunshots were taken to a local hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
No arrests have been made. Police are still looking for the suspect or suspects.
"I am both saddened and angry that this shooting and several others around the city have happened over the past summer and now into the fall," said Council Member Dan Kalb. "We need to bring these shootings down."
