New video seems to show Jada Pinkett Smith laughing after her husband, Will Smith, slapped comedian Chris Rock as he hosted the Academy Awards on Sunday.
The newly surfaced footage, filmed only two rows back from the Oscars stage, shows Will walking back to his seat after striking Rock.
Jada appears to laugh as the shocked Rock tells the crowd, “Wow, Will Smith just smacked the shit out of me!”
“Here is an angle most people have not seen. Look at Jada’s reaction,” reads the caption of the video.
The video has racked up over 500,000 views and 44,000 likes since it was posted Wednesday evening.
A separate video seems to show Rock looking upset minutes after being slapped on stage. It zooms him on the comedian’s face looking lost as he prepares to hand out an Oscars statuette.
“He’s in a deep state of humiliation fr,” speculated one Twitter user.

The veteran actor stormed the stage after Rock made a joke about the shaved head of the actor’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. Jada had previously said she was struggling with alopecia, an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss.
The shocking incident has sparked a flurry of speculation, as well as action by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences that hosted Sunday’s ceremony.
The Academy said that it had asked Smith to leave following the incident, but he refused. However, sources told TMZ that officials were split that night, and the producer of the show told him he could stay.
Rock said during a standup performance on Wednesday that he was “still processing” the incident. Ticket sales of his comedy tour spiked after the public altercation.
