Reality TV star Kim Kardashian revealed that she still passionate about pursuing a career in law, according to a recent interview.

Kardashian opened up about her aspirations to Vogue Hong Kong in her April 2022 cover story published Friday.

“I’m very passionate about Criminal Justice Reform and I want to advocate for those who I feel they were wrongfully convicted,” she said. “I dream of one day creating a successful law firm.”

The ex-wife of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has become a force in sentencing reform in recent years.

Kardashian worked with the administration of former President Donald Trump on criminal justice reform issues starting in 2018. She facilitated a meeting between Trump and three female prisoners he had pardoned in March 2020.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians explained that being around her father inspired her to become a lawyer. The late Robert Kardashian, her birth father, was a successful lawyer who defended O.J. Simpson in 1995.

“Doing this work has been in my soul for years and I’m so proud that I’m now doing this work. When I look back at old interviews, when people asked what I wanted to do if I wasn’t filming KUWTK, I always said I wanted to be a crime scene investigator or an attorney,” she told Vogue Hong Kong.

“Being in this line of work has definitely made me feel closer to my dad and to know that I’m helping people feels really good at the end of the day.”

Kardashian passed the “baby bar,” also known as the First-Year Law Students’ Examination, after failing three times.

“This wasn’t easy or handed to me. I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!!” she said in a celebratory Instagram post last December.
