Los Angeles police were called to Rihanna’s home after an unknown male tried to penetrate the perimeter of the singer’s property to propose marriage to her.

A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman told the New York Post on Thursday that the man was arrested at the singer’s Beverly Hills address at about 12:30 p.m. for trespassing.

TMZ reported the stranger traveled cross country from South Carolina to ask for the R&B star’s hand in marriage before he was detained by her security detail.

The security detail immediately called the LAPD who came and handcuffed the African American man, who was wearing a bright red Nike hoodie.

Police have not yet revealed whether Rihanna, who is currently pregnant with her second child was actually at home at the time the trespassing disturbance took place.

Thursday’s incident was not the first time male suiters have showed up to the superstar’s doorstep.

In 2018, Eduardo Leon was criminally charged after he allegedly broke into Rihanna’s Hollywood Hills home and remained there for over 12 hours, as if he was a resident.

During that incident, Rihanna was out of town and the intruder was discovered by the singer’s assistant. Leon told the police he was waiting for the singer to return so he could have sex with her.

As a result of his illegal breaking and entering, Leon was charged with felony counts of stalking, burglary, vandalism and a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.

But in the end, he didn’t serve any jail time and was instead sentence to five years probation with an order for mental health treatment.

Despite pleading guilty, Leon was sentenced to five years of probation and forced to enter a mental health program. The judge also granted a protective order for Rihanna to legally shield her from further contact with the man.
