Actress Lindsey Pearlman found dead after missing for several days

Actress Lindsey Pearlman was found dead on Friday morning after her family reported her missing five days ago.

Hollywood-area officials were contacted at 8:30 a.m. Friday after the body of the actress, whose identity was later confirmed, was found. The coroner will determine causes of death after examining the body, reported Deadline.

It is unknown when or how she went missing after being spotted last Sunday on North Mariposa Avenue, just three miles from where her body was found.

Pearlman's body was found by several passersby’s at the corner of Franklin and North Sierra Bonita Avenues. The investigation is ongoing to find details of what may have happened over the past five days.

Her husband Vance Smith confirmed Lindsey Pearlman's passing through a post shared on his social media. "Police found Lindsay. She is gone. I'm devastated. I will share more details later, but wanted to thank everyone for their love and efforts, and ask that you please respect her family's privacy at this time," he said.

Her relatives reported her missing after the actress did not return to her home.

Pearlman appeared in several television series such as General Hospital, American Housewife, and Selena.
