A woman surprised bank workers in Brazil after showing up with her dead uncle asking to withdraw 17,000 reais in cash, equivalent to $3,200.

A viral video showed Érika de Souza carrying the body of her uncle Paulo Roberto Braga in a wheelchair to a branch of Itaú Unibanco, in Bangú, a neighborhood located west of Rio de Janeiro.

Érika approached the counter with the body of her relative and tried to get him to “sign” a document to withdraw the cash. The employees quickly suspected the woman's intentions, so they decided to record everything and quickly call the police.

In the video, shared by several local media, you can see how Érika tries, repeatedly, to hold a pen in the deceased's hand to sign the documentation.

“I hold the pen for him. I'll support it," the woman says to her uncle under the watchful gaze of the bank employee.

“(His uncle) is not well. Look at his color,” the employee warns, to which Érika responds: “But he is like that.”

At that moment, the woman began to talk to her deceased uncle: “Uncle, uncle. If you don't recover we will have to go to the hospital. “I want you to do it again,” so he put the pen back in his hand.

At the end of the strange situation, the Police arrived at the scene and proceeded to examine the body and verify that the person in question had died.

The officers opened an investigation to find out if the family relationship is real and if the woman is involved in the man's death.
