Police body camera footage shows an Ohio dad calmly sitting on his porch next to a gun after he executed three of his sons last week, authorities said.

Police officers responded to several 911 calls at around 4:30 p.m. on June 15 reporting gunshots in the town of Monroe Township, about 20 miles east of Cincinnati. The bodycam footage shows the officers exiting the car and approaching Chad Christopher Doerman, 32, who was sitting on his front porch, and the bodies of three young boys laying in the yard.

Wearing jeans, a T-shirt, and no shoes, Doerman is unresponsive to police orders when they tell him to show his hands and stand up. A rifle and a smear of blood on his left arm are visible. When he fails to respond to the orders, police officers place him on the ground and in handcuffs.

During his arraignment on Friday, Doerman confessed to lining up his sons in their yard and shooting them, execution style—a plot he had planned months.

"This is by far the most sickening, horrifying crime I have seen," Clermont County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve said. "I can only imagine the terror these little boys felt and experienced as their father – their protector – was murdering them."

According to authorities, one of the boys tried to flee when he realized what was happening. However, his dad “hunted him down,” caught him, and brought him back to the home, where he shot him. The daughter, who was also in the house at the time, was able to flee the scene.

Doerman, 32, is being charged with aggravated murder for killing his three sons, aged 3, 4, and 7. He is currently held on $20 million bail. He is due back in court on June 26.

Doerman is also being accused of wounding the boys’ mother at their family home. The 34-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the hand while trying to protect her sons.
