DEVELOPING NEWS: Authorities are searching for a shooter identified as Deion Petterson, who fatally shot one person and injured four others in a building in the Midtown area of Atlanta, Georgia.
The police have released a photograph of the suspect with a gun in hand, wearing a hoodie and a face mask. No suspect has been arrested. The police said he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
"There have been no further shots fired since the initial incident," the department said in a tweet.

In a message posted on social media, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed that they are "in an active shooter situation inside a building on West Peachtree St, between 12th St and 13th St."
The police did not specify the circumstances of the events, and cordoned off the entire area while conducting an intense siege of the shooter.
