The mother of famed billionaire and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk blasted President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday for failing to acknowledge SpaceX’s 150th launch on Friday.
Sharing this remarkable achievement with @JoeBiden @POTUS @VP @KamalaHarris who are completely unaware of the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft. @SpaceX #MadeInAmerica #JustSaySpacex 😉 https://t.co/7XejbJceAt

Maye Musk, a 73-year-old Canadian-South African model and dietitian, took to Twitter call out the President and VP, saying, “Sharing this remarkable achievement with @JoeBiden @POTUS @VP @KamalaHarris who are completely unaware of the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft. ‘#MadeInAmerica #JustSaySpacex.”
According to a report from The Daily Mail, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket launched 40 spacecraft into orbit on Friday in what is considered SpaceX’s fourth “dedicated rideshare mission” and their 150th successful launch. The company’s so-called ridesharing program partners with national agencies such as NASA and Germany’s national space agency to launch their satellites.
Falcon 9 launched into a sun-synchronus orbit at 12:24 p.m. E.T. and the mission manifest is said to have included the first satellite orbited by Pixxel of India, Kleos Space’s Patrol Mission and 12 Spacebee communications satellites, Parabolic Arc reported.
The Musk family’s relationship with the Biden administration has been less-than-friendly in recent years and Elon Musk has been notoriously absent from White House events aimed at promoting electric vehicles – allegedly in part over a disagreement with the Biden administration over union rights, coronavirus pandemic restrictions and taxation in Democrat-held areas.
Maye’s tweet came shortly before Twitter shocked the business world by announcing that it was appointing Elon Musk to its board after the billionaire and tech entrepreneur bought a 9.2% stake in the social media company, sending Twitter’s shares up more than 3% on Tuesday morning.
Musk became Twitter Inc.’s largest shareholder on Monday after purchasing a 9.2% stake in the company – a move worth nearly 73.5 million shares or $3 billion. Musk announced the move just days after warning that Twitter’s lack of free speech protections “fundamentally undermines democracy.”
