Mom calls ex to show him how she slit their kids' throats 

A Louisiana mom  called her ex after slitting the throats of their children on Sunday to show him video of how they gasped for air before they died. 

Jenee Pedesclaux, 31, repeatedly called her ex, Jermaine Roberts, saying she would rather kill herself and the kids than go to jail amid their child-custody battle, according to court documents. 

In the first phone call, Pedesclaux told Roberts she had damaged his vehicle. Soon after she called him through FaceTime three times to show him how she had stabbed their two-year-old son, Jay’Ceon, and four-year-old daughter, Paris. 

In the last video call, she showed him how she had slit both of their throats. Their daughter was still “gasping for air” during the phone call. 

After the phone calls, Pedesclaux started doing a Facebook Live video of the bloodbath, blaming her ex for her actions. The video has since been deleted. 

“My children is dead! I’m done!” she said during the video. “I’m done with life, and it’s all Jermaine’s fault! … I’m killing myself, I’m done!”

Roberts called the police after the first phone call and rushed over to the house to try to save his children. However, Pedesclaux had locked him out. 

The dad was eventually able to enter the house by smashing a window and climbing through it. He found his kids in a pool of blood on the bed. The girl was foaming at the mouth, the court documents said. 

Pedesclaux allegedly bit Roberts and threatened him with a knife. He was able to eventually leave and took the children to the University Medical Center. 

Despite many life-saving procedures, their daughter was pronounced dead at the hospital after suffering hemorrhagic shock from the injuries. She had a cut on her neck down to her spine, as well as several other cuts in the chest and shoulders. 

Their young son, however, survived the gruesome incident. As of Monday, he remained in critical condition and was awaiting to undergo another surgery. 

Pedesclaux had knifed herself, but only suffered superficial wounds. She was treated at the hospital and then arrested. 

The mother faces charges of second-degree mother, attempted murder, and second-degree cruelty to a juvenile, reported The New York Post. 

Roberts was fighting for custody of his children, claiming that Pedesclaux was “not stable or providing a healthy environment for the kids.”
