Boxing legend Mike Tyson believes his death is coming "very soon" and has revealed his money problems with his wife, despite being a multi-millionaire. On his podcast, "Hotboxin with Mike Tyson," the 56-year-old former heavyweight champion of the world told trauma and addiction therapist Sean McFarland that he feels his time is about to end.
"We're all going to die someday, of course,'' Tyson said. "So, when I look in the mirror and see those little spots on my face, I say, 'Wow, that means my expiration date is coming up, real soon.'''
In a morbid conversation, Tyson claimed that "money doesn't mean shit to me" and that it offers a false sense of security.
"I always tell people, who think money will make them happy, that they've never had money, that when you have a lot of money you can't expect anyone to love you," he added.
"They think they are invincible when they have a lot of money, which is not true."
Tyson also said he has arguments with his third wife, Lakiha Spicer, after she claimed that the money will provide her with long-term security after he dies.
"What exactly is security?" he asked. "I don't know. When you put money in your bank and you get a check every week and you can live the rest of your life, is that security? It doesn't mean you're not going to catch a disease or get hit by a car. Can money insure you when you jump off a bridge?"
Mike Tyson had his first professional fight in 1985 when he defeated Hector Mercedes at the age of 18 and quickly earned a reputation as a fierce and intimidating fighter. He was the first heavyweight fighter to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles, as well as being the only heavyweight fighter to unify them consecutively.

Tyson is world famous for biting off the ear of rival Evander Holyfield in their June 1997 fight. The bite was hard enough to rip off a chunk of Holyfield's right ear, which was found on the ring floor after the fight in Las Vegas in one of boxing's most embarrassing images.
He served three years in prison for the rape of teenager Desiree Washington in July 1991 and filed for bankruptcy in 2003, despite having earned more than $30 million in several of his fights and $300 million in his entire career.
