A Michigan man with his teeth filed to points was arrested this week after having kidnapped a woman for three weeks, sexually assaulting her, and threatening to “rip out her throat,” authorities said.

On Thanksgiving week, Michael Barajas, 36, spotted a pregnant woman in her early 20s that had been kicked out of her house as she was walking on the street alone. After he offered her a place to stay and a bite to eat, the woman went home with him.

After they arrived at the dilapidated home, Barajas allegedly shoved her into a room and tied her to the bed. Police later discovered that the victim’s room had an exterior deadbolt and all the windows were screwed shut.

Bajaras kept the woman there for three weeks, repeatedly assaulting her sexually. He also had other people come over to assault and traffic her.

“This guy used the opportunity to not only sexually assault but have people come over and traffic her as she was tied forcibly to the bed while they assaulted her,” according to Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson.

He also threatened to bite the woman and rip her throat out with his filed teeth if she didn't do what he told her to during the course of the imprisonment.

“Barajas threatened that if she didn’t do everything that he told her to do, that he would bite her neck and rip out her throat,” Swanson said.

The woman tried to escape her imprisonment three times. While the first two times were unsuccessful, during the third time she suffered a medical emergency related to her pregnancy and made her way to Hurley Hospital in flint, where she was seen by nurses.

The nurses alerted the authorities of the woman, who was in serious need of medical help. Police then raided the home and arrested Bajaras on multiple charges.

Bajaras was booked in jail on a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on December 22.
