Jury convicts Ryan Routh of assassination attempt on Trump, faces life imprisonment

A Florida jury on Tuesday convicted Ryan Routh of an attempted assassination on President Trump last year, and is facing life imprisonment.

The jurors took about two hours to find Routh, 59, guilty of five federal charges of attempted assassination, assault on a federal officer, and gun crimes after a two-week trial in Fort Pierce, Fla., court, the New York Post reported.
