The fight between former world champion Mike Tyson and YouTuber Jake Paul has been rescheduled for Nov. 15, according to a statement released by the fight promoter, Most Value Promotions.

Last week, the company announced that due to an ulcer suffered by Tyson, considered one of the best boxers in heavyweight history, the fight could no longer take place on its original date, which was July 20.

Doctors recommended 'Iron Mike' not to do heavy physical training for a few weeks while he recovered from the problem with the ulcer.

“I will resume training shortly. I am grateful to the medical staff who treated me. What will not change is the result of the fight, Jake Paul will be knocked out,” Tyson said in the statement this Friday.

The venue for the professional fight will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be broadcast live on the video-on-demand platform, Netflix.

In his career as a boxer, Paul, 27 years old, has a record of nine wins, six by fast track, and one loss; a record that is overshadowed by that of heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, who at 57 years old boasts 50 wins, 44 via knockout, and only six defeats.

Along with this duel, the promoter revealed that the co-main event of the evening, between the Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano and the Irish Katie Taylor, for the super lightweight titles, will also take place on November 15.

The fight will be a rematch of what happened on April 30, 2022, when Serrano lost an even fight to Taylor by decision, a duel that broke the purse record for a female fight in boxing.
