U.S. Border Patrol agents found several individuals who had been reported lost or had gone missing in the Laredo sector of the border over the past week.

On November 5, agents stationed at the Hebbronville Station were notified of three undocumented migrants that had become lost in the area. Agents were able to locate the individuals using their GPS coordinates after they called for assistance.

The three migrants, who were originally from Mexico, were found in good health and did not require medical attention.

A second incident took place on November 7 in Zapata County after border agents received a 911 call from a migrant that had become lost in the brush northwest of Zapata.

Border Patrol agents used the cellphone’s GPS coordinates from the phone call to locate the migrant. The individual was a Mexican citizen who had crossed the border and was taken to Zapata station for processing.

The Laredo Sector Border Patrol warns migrants against crossing the border into the United States through dangerous environmental conditions.

Laredo sector agents make thousands of rescues a year of migrants who have become lost or have placed themselves in dangerous conditions after crossing the border.

“I would tell them that life is worth more than a dream.” a migrant who was lost in a ranch Northeast of Laredo told Fox News South Texas.
