Sweet corn cake (torta de elote)

Torta de elote, or sweet corn cake, is a soft bread-type dessert made out of corn that is typically eaten in Central America. It is ideal to eat with a cup of coffee.
- 8 grated corn
- 1 ½ bar of butter (150 grams)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
Blend all of the ingredients until well mixed. Place mixture in a greased pan.
Bake at 300 Fahrenheit for 45 minutes. Let cool.
Optional: serve with whipped cream on top

Instead of using a single pan, use cupcake molds to make individual servings.
