GROUP A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, The Netherlands
The Dutch team fell into an uncomplicated group with the well-prepared hosts, African champions Sadio Mané's Senegal, and Ecuador, which returns to the World Cup under coach Gustavo Alfaro.
GROUP B: England, Iran, USA, and the winner of Scotland-Ukraine vs. Wales
Another bracket with a favorite. The English team, finalists of the last European Championship and one of the top candidates, should have no difficulty against the young USA team, which returns to the World Cup with Christian Pulisic, Sardar Azmoun's Iran, and the winner of the European playoff postponed until June due to the war in Ukraine.
GROUP C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland, Poland
Lionel Scaloni's "Albiceleste" national team comes to the World Cup with a 31-game unbeaten streak, and in Lionel Messi's last great tournament, the champion of America cannot afford any surprises against the group's rivals. We will see a duel between the best player of the year awardees, strikers Messi and Robert Lewandowski of Poland. Mexico, always competitive, will try to achieve the dream of playing a fifth game (quarterfinals).
GROUP D: France, Winner of UAE-Australia vs. Peru, Denmark, Tunisia
The world champions will defend their title in a group with good soccer teams, such as Denmark, reborn with Christian Eriksen, and probably Peru, if they advance in the international play-offs. However, France is the same winning block with a much more mature Kylian Mbappé and the return of Karim Benzema. The constellation of stars under the command of Didier Deschamps makes one dream of the feat of repeating the title, something that has not happened in World Cups since Pele's Brazil.
GROUP E: Spain, New Zealand or Costa Rica, Germany, Japan
Spain was drawn against the second team in the group that nobody wanted, the four-time champion, Germany. But then the draw was kind to both of them and the bracket is completed by lower level teams. German coach Hansi Flick described Group E as "interesting and exciting" and admitted it would not be easy. "It's an interesting group and it's not easy, not only because of Spain," Flick told German public television and acknowledged that Germany has "big plans" for this World Cup.
For his part, Luis Enrique is clear after the World Cup draw: "We want to eat the world." The Spanish coach made no secret of the fact that Spain will remain the same. "We're not going to change the way we play, whether it's a friendly, a European Championship or a World Cup. Our style is very clear, our way of playing is very clear and it will be very difficult to compete against us. We can be beaten by anyone, but we can also beat anyone."

GROUP F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia
Belgium is facing the last great opportunity of its golden generation. But it will arrive in Qatar with many unknowns, no one knows if Eden Hazard will recover after his operation and his disastrous time at Real Madrid, Meanwhile, striker Romelu Lukaku failed again at Chelsea where he hardly plays. If he does not change, it will be difficult for the "Red Devils," who have in Kevin De Bruyne their current star. World Cup runner-up Croatia will try to give another great performance in Luka Modric's last dance.
GROUP G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon
Tite's "Canarinha" comes as another top favorite, although it is true that don’t seem as powerful as the Brazil from four years ago. Neymar is in a moment where his career has stagnated, but young Vinicius, Antony, and Lucas Paqueta try to give joy to a team along with the team’s reliable strengths, Casemiro, Marquinhos, and goalkeeper Alisson. It will be the first major tournament for the new Serbian star Vlahovic, while Switzerland hopes to continue its growth and Cameroon to surprise.
GROUP H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, South Korea
Portugal survived the play-offs to fall into what looks like the toughest group of the World Cup. In Cristiano Ronaldo's fifth World Cup, he will equal the players who have played the most in the tournament: Lothar Matthaus, Gianluigi Buffon, and Antonio Carbajal. Fernando Santos' team cannot afford to fail. Cristiano will be supported by Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva in his last attempt to win a World Cup. Thir toughest rival will be Uruguay, whose new coach Diego Alonso has brought back the charrúa spirit. Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani are also facing their last big tournament. Heung-Min Son will try to continue making history with South Korea, while Ghana is an unknown variable.
These are the final eight groups for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which will kick off on November 21. Twenty-nine teams have already qualified and the other three that will be decided at the intercontinental play-offs and the European play-offs also know their destiny. All that remains is for the ball to roll in Qatar to experience new emotions in the first World Cup to be held in the Middle East.
