Former President Donald J. Trump indicated he believes he will be arrested Tuesday, citing potential charges stemming from the Manhattan district attorney’s office, and heralded the MAGA movement to rally behind him.

“THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!,” Trump announced in an all capital letters to his America First followers on Truth Social Saturday morning.

Trump asserted his innocence, ripped Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as “CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL,” and accused Bragg’s campaign of being backed by left wing billionaire George Soros.

Manhattan’s potential charges are purportedly aimed at Trump’s payments of hush money to former adult actress Stormy Daniels, who has repeatedly asserted she had an affair with Trump in 2016 and received $130,000 in hush money to keep her quiet during his 2016 presidential run.

Trump has denied her assertions.

An attorney for Daniels said Wednesday she met with Bragg’s prosecutors, and that the former adult actress was prepared to testify.

Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty in 2018 to federal campaign finance law violations stemming from the purported payment.
