Mother of Mexican influencer Derek Trejo found dead in hotel

The mother of Mexican influencer Derek Trejo was found dead in a hotel in Mexico City, hours after the TikToker begged his followers for help to find her, according to a June 18 report published by the Infobae Argentine news service.
New details came to light this Wednesday about what happened to Verónica de la Rosa, who was seen on Tuesday entering the CD Real Hotel, located in Azcapotzalco, with an individual who left the place alone shortly after.
News of the matriarch’s disappearance was announced after Trejo used his social networks to ask his followers for help about his mother's whereabouts.

Trejo tweeted that his mother was last seen in a silver Kia with NTS4006 plates, and that the last charge on her card had been made in the Tacubaya neighborhood.
“I'm bad, I'm devastated, please don't make jokes with me. I only ask you to help me find her,” Trejo wrote on the X social media platform.
This Wednesday, journalist Carlos Jiménez revealed details about the mother’s injuries.
Jiménez published the cause of death along with two videos from the hotel's security cameras, in which the woman and the unidentified subject between 20 and 25 years old are seen arriving at the scene.
Another camera shows the same man alone leaving the building.
According to the journalist, the hotel employees went to the woman's room on Tuesday night after realizing that she was not leaving even when her time had expired. That's when they found her lying on the floor covered with a blanket.

Derek Trejo, 30, is a content creator who was born in Mexico City. He has more than 1.3 million followers on TikTok, on Instagram with more than 350,000 followers and on YouTube he has more than 50 thousand subscribers.
