Three flights coming from the United States and Mexico arrived at Guatemala on Thursday bringing 332 deportees, several of whom are minors, official sources claimed.

The first flight came from Mexico with 114 adults — 93 men and 21 women — along with 22 minors.

The second flight arrived from McAllen, Texas. Aboard the flight were 28 adults — 5 men and 23 women — and 34 minors.

On the third flight coming from Harlingen, Texas, there were 134 adults — 99 men and 35 women, according to the local newspaper Prensa Libre.

During 2021, more than 63,000 Guatemalans were deported from Mexico and the U.S., a 44 percent increase from the previous year, according to the Guatemalan Migration Institute.
