Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis blamed the Biden administration’s “lawlessness” for the alleged murder of Francisco Javier Cuellar at the hands of Yery Noel Medina Ulloa, a 24-year-old Honduran immigrant who crossed the US border illegally while posing as an unaccompanied minor, The New York Post reported.

“Unfortunately there was a tragic situation — one of the illegals that Biden flew in committed a murder in Florida recently,” DeSantis told host Sean Hannity.

“That individual who died would be alive had Biden not been doing this,” the governor said of the 46-year-old father of four. “This is really serious stuff.”

Police said they followed a trail of blood to the victim’s home and arrested Ulloa, placing him in a juvenile detention facility, the Post reported.

It wasn’t until Oct. 13 that authorities learned his real identity — and his true age.

Gov. DeSantis suggested that the 24-year-old arrived in Florida on one of the federal government’s late night flights carrying migrant youth.

“They don’t tell us when these flights are coming in — these are flights at 2 in the morning,” DeSantis complained.

His administration previously threatened legal action after claiming that the federal government sent 70 planes carrying young migrants to Jacksonville from the US-Mexico border.

The Biden administration, however, has stood firm with regards to its lax border policies, arguing that immigration is solely the purview of the federal government.

“If it’s a federal responsibility, what happens when the federal government totally defaults on that responsibility?” DeSantis pondered. “Are they saying the states have no ability to protect themselves?”

At his arraignment, Ulloa pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and tampering with evidence charges.

He is due back in court on Nov. 20.
