Amazon Music is launching two new weekly musical series on its platform: a pop/Latin culture program, “La Semanal Live,” and a new hip-hop program, titled “Rotation Roundtable.”

“Rotation Roundtable” premiered on Wednesday, offering  a new hybrid Twitch live stream and a 60-minute podcast experience inspired by Amazon Music's “Rap Rotation” and “R&B Rotation” playlists.

The space was hosted by journalist and executive producer Speedy Morman, Power 105.1 host/producer Nyla Symone, “On the Radar” creator Gabe P and veteran journalist Rob Markman.

Each episode will feature a “Big Questions” segment aimed at inducing discourse about current phenomena in hip-hop. The show will also feature guest interviews and a discussion segment fueled by user engagement on digital platforms.

The new Latino music playlist, “La Semanal Live” will start streaming on March 24. The segment will explore the week's biggest stories and releases in Latin popular music and culture.

La Semanal Live will be hosted by Gio Rosado, a Puerto Rican journalist, influencer and podcast host. Also, the 60-minute live music show in Miami will feature interviews from artists and other guests, including new Platinum DJ Mode radio host Grecia Lopez.

The first episode will reportedly feature an interview with Colombian superstar Manuel Turizo, and that the show will celebrate women in Latin music and feature top female collaborations, lyrical breakdowns, the classic album review, with a focus on Karol G and other surprises.

The streaming music giant reported that “Rotation Roundtable” will air regularly on Wednesdays at 9 p.m., while “La Semanal Live” will have its time on Fridays at the same time on the Amazon Music Live channel on Twitch, with video clips available in the Amazon Music app.
