Former California GOP Rep. Devin Nunes discusses shadow banning across multiple social media platforms and described it as a propaganda war.
"When I left Congress, I knew that we had to get this stood up, because so many people had been shadow banned," Nunes said on Just the News, Not Noise.
"You had it happening to myself and others like me, but also you had the president," Nunes continued. "I mean Trump was booted off of all of the platforms. So this is really a necessity, when we're in a dark chapter of American history in the middle of a propaganda war that the left is waging against America and our democratic republic."
Nunes went on to say that the American people needed their voice back and there was a reason why alternative media is getting more traction and flow. He emphasized the importance of other platforms that let people know what is going on, such as Truth Social, during the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.
"Just think, what would have happened if this raid had occurred, and President Trump would not have had Truth Social to announce it to the world that it was happening," Nunes emphasized.
Nunes also said that as a result of former President Trump using Truth Social to announce the Mar-a-Lago raid, it brought a new flock of followers to Truth Social.
"So President Trump had gotten his message out, and not only that, he was able to get his message out over and over and over again, in real time," Nunes explained. "And I think what that's done is bring a whole bunch of new users to the platform."
