Arizona gubernatorial candidate and former FOX newscaster Kari Lake has nice things to say about former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Lake's praise comes after DeSantis criticized the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago at an Arizona rally on Monday, repeating an earlier claim that federal law enforcement agencies are being “weaponized” against political enemies.

The popular Florida Republican spoke out against federal bureaucracy while stumping for Lake and Senate candidate Blake Masters at a Turning Point Action rally.

“These agencies have now been weaponized to be used against people that the government doesn’t like,” DeSantis told the crowd.

“And you look at the raid at Mar-a-Lago,” he added, but not mention former President Donald Trump by name.

The Florida governor made similar remarks shortly after news broke of the FBI’s search of Trump's beachside residence last Monday, where he likened the “weaponization of federal agencies” to the actions of an unstable “banana republic.”

DeSantis declared that “the founding fathers knew that the government would abuse power” and gave Congress the authority to keep it in check.

"What I hope to see, if Republicans take majorities, is use the power that you have under the constitution to bring accountability to a bureaucracy that's totally off the rails," DeSantis said.

DeSantis is on a multi-state tour of battleground states as the keynote speaker of Turning Point Action’s “Unite and Win” rallies. He is set to boost several candidates favored by Trump, including Masters, Lake, Ohio Republican candidate for Senate J.D. Vance, and Pennsylvania's GOP gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano.

Lake caught some funny looks at the Sunday rally after telling the audience that both Trump and DeSantis exhibit “BDE” — an acronym for “big dick energy.”

“He’s got the same kind of BDE that President Trump has,” Lake said of DeSantis.

“And frankly, he has the same kind of BDE that we want all of our elected leaders to have.”
