Several undocumented migrants wearing camouflage were caught by Fox News cameras on Tuesday climbing over the border wall in Arizona.

The exclusive video shows a migrant being lowered by smugglers from the Mexico side into Naco, Arizona.

The crossing came days after Vice President Kamala Harris claimed that the communities around the U.S.-Mexico border were safe during an interview on “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

The Vice President said that while the immigration system was “broken” under the Trump administration and needed fixing, the southern border was “safe” despite the large number of migrants crossing the country each month.

“I think there’s no question that we need to do what the President and I asked Congress to do, the first demand we made: pass legislation to create a pathway to citizenship,” Harris said. “The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, especially in the last four years before we came in, and it needs fixing.”

The apprehension of the migrants comes as Border Patrol agents have encountered an unprecedented number of migrants at the southern border.

The number of migrant apprehensions so far in this fiscal year already exceeds the total of the previous fiscal year and has set record-breaking numbers. Since October, more than 1.8 million individuals have attempted to cross the border, four times more than those who were intercepted at the border in 2020.
