Oops, she did it again! Pop queen Britney Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, have separated, according to reports that surfaced Wednesday evening.

Confidential sources told TMZ Wednesday that an explosive argument erupted between Spears and Asghari after the pop star’s husband heard rumors that his beloved had cheated on him.

Although there are no confirmed reports the cheating allegations are actually true at this time, it didn’t stop Asghari from confronting Spears, leading to an argument that put the two on a current track toward Splitsville.

After the argument, Spears 29-year husband, who marred the “Crazy” star in a June 2022 fairy tale wedding, moved out of their SoCal home.

Spears’ publicists did not return comment to various media inquiries, reports said.

While the separation is still in the early stages, and it is unclear whether the two may reconcile at a later date, Spears isn’t risking a significant financial loss as part of a potential marital settlement agreement.

It has been previously reported that Asghari signed a prenuptial agreement at the time they got married last year.

“Britney and Sam signed a prenup in her favor,” a source told the New York Post’s Page Six. “Any money she made before the wedding is protected.”

Another source who purported to know the inside scoop on the singer’s plan said they Spears may settle divorce with a one-time cash payout, a strategy some divorcees prefer to avoid paying alimony.

Earlier this year, TMZ produced a documentary about Spears which suggested the “Toxic” singer’s marriage was already on the rocks in its infancy stage.

TMZ also said that Spears was prone to getting physical with her new hubby amid screaming tantrums, which drove him away from their residence.

Asghari later said he resented the documentary, accusing its producers of exploiting his wife “as a money-making machine.”

“I found it absolutely disgusting for the people who were in her life when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs,” Asghari said in an Instagram Story video.

The 29-year old also expressed his disappointment the producers targeted his wife just when she was released from her long held conservatorship, a source of controversy in the national media for several years that also gave birth to the ‘Free Britney’ movement.

Shortly after the documentary was released, Spears tried to quell rumors about their relationship problems by publishing an Instagram video of the pair embracing with kisses outside amid a beautiful garden of peach colored flowers.

“I feel so blessed to be with such an incredible husband who inspires me every day!” she wrote beside the video.

Spears accepted Asghari’s proposal after a long five year courtship in September 2021, and less than a year later at her California mansionin the Los Angeles suburb of Thousand Oaks.

They had several celebrity guests including Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton and Selena Gomez. Before their relationship, the pop singer was very briefly married for three weeks to Jason Alexander in 2004 and Kevin Federline for three years from 2004-2007.
